We Are Focused on Traveling to Cuba
We’ve Been Working Since 2011
Beginning in 2011, we had an idea for a ferry service that would shuttle passengers from ports within Florida to various ports on the island of Cuba. During this time, we’ve worked with officials at every level of government to push our concept forward.
It has taken four years, but we believe that the opportunity for a private ferry service is quickly approaching. In fact, as of May 5, 2015, the US Government has begun issuing licenses for ferry services.

Our goal with Cubakat is to make travel to Cuba accessible and easy for everyone….for Cuban Americans who want to reconnect with their family and their heritage….for adventurous travelers….business people….students….church groups…really for anyone who’s been excited to visit a country that’s been closed to most Americans for the past 50 years.
When Are We Expected to Begin Service?
We are hopeful for a start date in the Spring / Summer of 2016, but working with many parties to determine if that time frame will work for everyone involved.
